Firefly: Take Me To the Pilot - June 14th, 9:15

We will be showing the real 2 hour pilot, "Serenity", parts 1 &2, and then the faux/Fox pilot, "The Train Job"

In fitting with the "pilot" theme, come dressed as Serenity's lovable pilot, Wash (Hawaiian shirt or a jumpsuit if you have one), and be ready for Wash trivia. (For those of you still reeling from the pop quiz at the Buffy prom last month: don't worry this should be much easier.)

Please post any questions and or comments you have either before or after the show here, and I'll try to respond asap.

Hope to see you there!

POST SHOW EDIT: Thanks to everyone who came. Please use the comments section to share your opinions about how the night went and suggestions for future events.

You guys did very well on the Final Exam tonight. Next time I'll have go come up with some harder questions.

Thanks to Dr. Comics and Mr. Games for donating the Buffy Season 8 comics for the first prize winner.
The Buffy soundtrack CD and Free Admission prizes were donated by The Cerrito Theater.

This is so very cool I could just plotz. I went to the "prom" Buffy night @ The Cerrito and was favorably impressed by the hostess Laura D... although I thought her trivia questions were much too easy.

M. Whangdoodle speaks such the truth! I am very much looking forward to saluting my fave space cowboy (no, not steve miller) ... Wash! Okay, maybe Mal is more the cowboy, with Wash being the lovable sidekick. But Gabby Hayes was never this yummy! (That was supposed to be a compliment, but I think I just dissed Wash ... )

So far I've been to both the Buffy night and the FF night at the Cerrito, and I cant tell you how much fun I've had!!! I LOVE seeing our friends up on the big screen! And I just wanted to thank you Laura for creating such an enjoyable night. Those quizes of yours are such a fun idea! LOL. I'm shy so I dont just jump into groups, but watching Buff or FF with a room full of Browncoats...*sigh* Theres just nothing like it. Your the best and I look forward to next month!
